ASUS strengthens Channel Strategies

Laying emphasis to strengthen its channel partners reach ASUS India, a technology leader committed to innovation and perfection, quite insistent on intensifying its channels in Tier II and Tier III towns and cities of India. Having dedicated to have 200 stores by the end of 2013, ASUS has an all round focus to productively operate in India with a distinctive approach.

ASUS is dedicated and is strong on the channel front and continuously works towards empowering its distributors and manpower to reach out to a larger target audience. The company works with them to help develop a profitable and sustainable business and rewards them with training, certification, specialization and competitive margins.

To appraise the channel partners the company gives them incentives in the form of International trips on completing the target sales. Recently the company had organized a Europe Trip for the partners who would sell 120 units, 180 units, 270 units and 450 units respectively. Elaborating on the same Unaez Quraishi, Director, Sales and Distribution, System Business Group, India, ASUS informs, “We have divided the partners into four groups for those who will sell 120 units will be entitled for a three night trip but will have to give a registration fee of the trip. For those who will sell 180 units will get three nights trip minus the registration fee. For 270 units sold, channel partners were given 6 night trip and for partners who will sell 450 units we gave them 6 nights trip with a companion.”

Having got a good response through this initiative ASUS plans to organize such trips in a quarter. ASUS conducts various channel meets and seminars which helps understand and build better partner relations. The company had also organized the ‘ASUS Lion’s Pride Channel Summit’ at Singapore as an incentive for the channel.

ASUS understands the Channel’s role in business and will continue to offer schemes and structures for its channel, enhanced training programs on product and technology in order to reinforce a sustainable business.
