Consecutively for the second time B. Hari has been unanimously elected as the President of the Confederation of Indian IT Association (CIITA) at the elections held in Kolkata recently. The participating members also elected other portfolios for the office bearers.
Pawan Agarwalla, President, NECTA was elected as the Vice President, Narendra Dhanuka succeeded Rajiv Poddar as the new secretary for CIITA. Pawan Jajodia was elected as the Treasurer for the second time and Navin Gupta of BITA was also selected as the Vice President for the second time.
Dayananda Ratho of ITAO and Manoj Baid of NITO were elected as the Joint Secretary and Joint Treasurer. Though president was selected unanimously without any election for the post, the elections were held for all the other posts in the association.
CIITA is keen on focusing on collaborating with other national associations and work over its expansion plans. The association is keen on developing relations with the state governments to address local need and issues of the industry.
