“We will be focusing on Networking Solutions”

Keeping in mind the growing opportunities in the networking solutions space, Indore based Worth Technology is now set to focus towards the networking and solutions space. Manoj Ajmera, Director, Worth Technology Pvt. Ltd interacts with ITPV and discusses about the focus in the present year where the company is looking forward for corporate solutions in networking.

How do you feel winning the award in the category Emerging Solution provider (Indore). How does it motivate you further?

Every Award/ Reward do motivate the person to do much better than what has been done previously and if the award is by a leading media in IT industry no doubt the motivation will be much higher than the award given by any vendor because that’s to a product specific.

What is the present focus for Worth Technology today?

Our major focus is in distribution and solutions to corporate. Presently our 50% business comes from distribution and 40% from corporate business and rest 10% from retail business. In coming years our focus area will be corporate solutions in networking, Web based and cloud based solutions.

What are the key verticals for your business operations?

Our key verticals are Distribution, corporate solutions and retail

Please share the list of vendors that are working closely with you?
In distribution Samsung ( printer division) , Acer gateway ( Laptops) are the main vendors while in case of Solution Business IBM , Lenovo , Cisco , Dlink , Apple , Fortinet are the main Vendors.

Any plans to diversify in any other untapped markets or verticals?

Yes, we have started new division in our portfolio i.e. software development. We have few corporate orders to develop specialized software for them.

We have complete solution to track vehicle anywhere in the world which help our customers to locate (see) the position of his vehicle sitting at his office. Apart from this feature customer can check the fuel position, speed of the vehicle.

What is your turnover for the last financial year? And what is your expectation for this year?

Our turnover is Rs.18.5 Crore last year in direct business and around Rs.3.00 crore indirect business (billed by vendor to customer directly). This year our focus is not on turnover but on profits. Still we expect the growth as per industry standard.

Watt will be the market prospects in the coming months?

On account of the State Govt. policy, lots of new industries are coming in near future and we expect the growth in every field.

Corporate business will definitely grow, while in next few months Govt. business will slow down due to state election.

Any challenge that your company is facing while dealing with the vendors?

We are dealing with all our vendors since long, we don’t have any issue or challenge with the vendors.

What is your growth plan for this financial year?

As previously said, its as per industry standard in Hardware business , definitely we are seeing a lot of growth in software business.

Any new vendor or product you will be adding this year?

It depends on the opportunities but yes we are looking for Tablet business in distribution where we can see a huge growth in future.

What about your company’s after sales service- do you provide it and how?

We are the service provider for IBM servers and Fortinet products . Apart from these we have a team of 10+ Engineers who are providing services to our customers.

Where do you position your company in the next 10 year?

Surely , with our vision and focus , we will be on the top position in corporate business . Since we are not in turnover game, we will see ourselves as a most profitable company of the state.

Please share your achievements till date?

We have completed 25 years in IT business and in last 25 years we have achieved all our targets sets internally as well as assigned by vendors. We are the first IBM business partner (1993) signed in India and from day one we are selling IBM servers dedicatedly and we are the number one IBM server partner in Central India.

How do you find the Solution market today?

Never ending, always a growing market, where you will not see much competition as it is not like box moving business.
