ASUS unveils K5130 desktops

Powered by the latest 3rd Generation Intel Core processor-based platform, ASUS has launched K5130 desktop. The desktop supports lightning speed data transfer at 4.8 Gbps with USB 3.0 – the latest standard. USB 3.0 transfers data up to 10X faster than USB 2.0 while remaining fully backward-compatible.

The ASUS K5130 is also supported by Ai Charger technology which offers 50% faster charging speeds for all USB-compatible devices. The K5130 features Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 that enables processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency. The Integrated Intel GMA provides high definition graphics and a high-quality video playback experience. This high-speed transfer rate significantly reduces data transfer times even for large files like videos and photos.

ASUS-exclusive Instant On enables 98% power savings in Eco Mode and effortlessly resumes applications to your previous hot key session. It also keeps the data extra secure on hard drive, safe from power outages and accidental deletion. AI Suite II is a one-stop user-friendly interface that integrates several ASUS management utilities together to allow users to manage parameters like energy settings, fan speeds, and voltage to sensor readings. UEFI BIOS provides a mouse-controlled interface that enables more flexible and convenient input; while a user-friendly graphics-based BIOS interface offers easier system tweaking and greater storage support. It also natively supports fully-utilized hard drives larger than 2.2TB in 64-bit operating systems.
