Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes to India

After receiving success in western countries, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes to Indian offshore to mesmerize the smartphone lovers with its unique features. An extension of Note 2, the new phone features 5.7” full HD super AMOLED screen.

Note 3 comes with improved stylus functions, air command, new S-pen functionality,13 megapixel rear camera for clear photographs, faster data connection. The handset runs on Android 4.3 and has 3GB RAM. Multitasking has also been improved allowing users to run two applications simultaneously. Users can run one application in two windows at the same time.

Samsung has added an enhanced security solution KNOX for the corporate users. Its LTE version will come powered by 2.3 GHz quad core processor while the 3G version will be engineered with a 1.9GHz octa core processor.

The battery life of Note 3 is exemplary as it comes with 3200mAh battery. Along with the phone, Samsung offers an extended range of accessory which includes faux leather panels in white, black and pink, alternative back covers in browns, reds, oranges and yellows, Notebook style flip covers.

Samsung has also launched Galaxy gear which is the first wearable tech device. It is priced at Rs. 22,990. It features a 1.63-inch (4.14 cm) OLED display and can make calls, display messages, record videos and snap photos with its 1.9-megapixel camera.

The Galaxy Gear smartwatch will work as an accessory to its market-leading Galaxy smartphones, with a small screen offering basic functions like photos, hands-free calls and instant messaging. The Gear also sports a basic camera and works with popular social media and fitness apps such as Twitter and RunKeeper.

Galaxy Note 3 is priced at Rs.49,900 and is available from 25 sep.
