In a major development, IT industry veteran Pallab Talukdar has left Fujitsu India and he has personally confirmed this development. “Yes it is true that I have quit Fujitsu. However, I have not yet decided about my new assignment but I am still here till November 2013 end. It is probably time to take a short break but will keep you posted in future,” he quickly explained.
Reacting to this development, a reply from Fujitsu said, “Fujitsu remains fully committed to its customers, partners and business in India, which continues to be a key market for Fujitsu, and where we are growing significantly year on year. As such, all operations in the country remain open.”
“Pallab Talukdar has left Fujitsu India to pursue other interests. We thank him for his valuable contributions to the company’s growth,” added, Mark Wilson, Managing Director, Fujitsu India who is responsible overall from a sales, customer and partner perspective.
It may recalled that Talukdar is highly regarded in the IT industry and started his career from working with Wipro in the year 1987, Talukdar joined Fujitsu in May 2009 and has been in-charge of Fujitsu India’s IT business since then. In his previous assignments, Talukdar has headed Dell’s Enterprise business and also had a long stint with HP India.
