Global Infonet appoints CEO

Global Infonet Distribution Pvt. ltd. has appointed Prashant Prakash as the Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership he will be responsible for making strategies for the company and running the business successfully. He dreams to get Global in top 3 distribution house in next 3 years and believes value added distribution, innovation, aggression can take this.

Coming from Vendor background, he understands the pain point of vendor which he would like Global to enrich with. Prior joining Global Infonet Prashant worked with HCL and achieved accolades for starting a new vertical for Multi-brand distribution house. Prashant worked as Consumer Business Head with HCL for 15 years and under his leadership HCL became a number 3 brand in notebook for 6 quarters. Through his hard work he transformed HCL from a direct company to a channel driven company.

To expand the company’s reach Prashant travelled more than 700 towns as part of his rural market strategy. During his tenure in HCL he made HCL number one brand in Desktop.

A graduate engineer from University of Pune and IIM A alumuni, he has worked with Bharti and Zenith Computers.
