Fonocom is all set to begin in MP next month while showcasing some high-end IT products and telecom products. In an exclusive chat with ITPV, Raghavendra Tripathi, President, MPCTA informs that this year the expo will give special focus on student and corporate.
Indore is all set to organize its 18th IT Expo- Fonocom 2014 from 14th to 16th February at the IDA Ground. Madhya Pradesh Computer and Telecom Association (MPCTA), the apex body of computer traders of MP and the organizer of the event expects this year expo to be bigger and better giving special focus on students and corporate.
“FONOCOM is one of the most awaited activities of our association, every year we plan this IT expo which brings together all the IT and telecom companies, their partners, dealers and local customers under one roof. This year we are conducting this event in a much bigger ground and we will be having more number of stalls and pavilions,” informs Raghavendra Tripathi, President, MPCTA.
The event preparation is in process however, the sponsors are yet to finalize which will be done within a week. The association has started the booking of the stalls while giving first preference to its members and will open booking to non-members and vendors later.
This time the outlook of the association is to showcase high-end IT product and telecom product and also targeting corporate houses and college students with lucrative deals and quiz competitions. Changing it from the past, instead of regular science exhibition for the schools the organizers have planned for a special feature on upcoming technology along with seminars for colleges.
Every year expo gets over one lakh footfalls from across the state. “It’s one of the largest IT expo of the state, dealers from across MP get opportunities to meet IT vendors directly, who otherwise get minimum chance to interact with the brand companies,” adds Tripathi.
