The new release caters to the Indian taxation and banking requirements. Keeping in mind the complicated taxation norms of our country, especially in the state of Maharashtra which has introduced the LBT format, Tally has come up with the release that will make taxation processes simpler in the state.
Thoughtfully designed, Release 4.8 brings with it solutions to concerns faced by the manufacturing and trading organizations featuring in the municipal corporation of Maharashtra.

The banking enhancements provide options to calculate interest of bank accounts based on reconciliation date; transfer modes (NEFT/RTGS) and transaction types like ATM Cards and ECS.
In Tally.Server 9 Release 4.8 the backup options have been enhanced by providing multiple backup schedules, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
