1) Elaborate a bit about your Service Assurance Business?
Service Assurance is all about making sure we can make IT investments completely accountable to the businesses. It ensures to make the IT infrastructure and applications more liable to the business in real time fetching a rise in productivity to the enterprise.
2) What are the different solutions you have for Enterprise Mobility?
There are two aspects of Enterprise Mobility- one is the managing the mobile device in which our MDM mobile device management portfolio registers a mobile device and tracks its entire life cycle from security to configuration. The another important aspect in Enterprise Mobility is managing the applications in mobile for which we have our mobile applications performance management solution which enables tieing up the application performance of Enterprises.
3)How different are your solutions from the other players like VMware and Citrix?
Every vendor views the market from a different perspective like VMware eyes the market from a virtualization perspective while we look into the market from a Pureplay enterprise management perspective as well as with an application economy perspective. We don’t compete with the names which you have mentioned in the question as we have a different approach.
4) How you think organizations can streamline trends like BYOD and CYOD from the management perspective?0
Enteprises will now have to manage a heterogonous set of platforms and users and depending upon how each organization defines BYOD. The ultimate business challenge which it proposes is to have a consistent delivery experience across these applications because the underline motive of these initiatives is to improve productivity.
5) What is the company’s focus on SMB segment now?
The SMB market is a very agile and crowded market but it is too big to ignore. What’s most important is how do you tap the market. From the CA perspective we are looking at it as what they want and what we can offer to them. They want a simple agile and easy solution and that’s a market where maximum innovation can happen. For us to align with the SMB market it is important to be innovative both on the product side as well as on the partner side.
6)Is CA into virtualization?
Virtualisation is a reality of how customers can leverage their infrastructure and our goal is to help them manage their assets. We are agnostic in terms of the virtualization platform and our job is to provide a guarantee of delivery of certain applications be it on the on premise infrastructure or over the cloud.
