Toshiba has released its new range of laptops in the Indian market that includes three laptops, an ultrabook and a professional workstation. The new laptops include the Satellite S40, L series devices, Portege Z30-A, Tecra Z40-A and Tecra W50 notebooks.
The Toshiba Satellite S40 is powered by a fourth-gen Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost technology 2.0 up to 2.6GHz clock speed. It comes with up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and 1TB of hard disk drive storage. The connectivity options include an HDMI port capable of 4K output, USB 3.0 ports, and a USB port with Sleep & Charge technology. It will be available for a starting price point of Rs 50,790.
The Toshiba Satellite L Series laptop boasts a 15.6-inch HD Clear SuperView LED backlit display. It will be available in multiple configuration choices including AMD A4-5000 quad-core APU with AMD Radeon HD 8330 graphics or Intel Pentium quad-core N3520. A couple of more options are also there with an Intel Core i3 4th-gen processor or an Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost technology 2.0. The L Series has a total of about 14 models with different configuration options and three different colour choices. The L series laptops start at Rs 25,785, going all the way up to Rs 51,340.
The Toshiba Portege Z30-A is a high-definition Ultrabook notebook for maximum business mobility. It features a 13.3-inch display with touch support. The laptop is powered by a 4th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with 2.1GHz clock speed that goes upto 3.30GHz with Turbo Boost technology 2.0. It features a high-performance solid state drive and Intel Rapid Start technology. The connectivity features of the Portege Z30-A include HDMI, RGB, VGA, Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports and another USB port with the Sleep & Charge feature. This allows you to charge USB devices such as smartphone even when the laptop is in sleep mode.
The Toshiba Tecra Z40-A notebook has a 14-inch anti-glare HD display. The performance department is handled by a 2.1GHz Intel Core i7 vPro processor. It’s also equipped with Turbo Boost 2.0 with up to 3.30GHz clock-speed. There is no word about its price at the moment.
