“Growth is coming from Service sector” Vipul Datta, FutureSoft

Vipul started his business with an initial investment of INR20 lakhs and has now grown manifolds becoming one of the success stories himself for the peers.

With the vision to succeed with the customers’ success, Vipul did not find many challenges at the initial stages of business. In 1996 he took a conscious call and started focusing on giving solutions for the infrastructure space. Excerpts from interview…

What is the present focus of the company?

Our focus is into infrastructure solutions and managed services. We give end to end solutions to our customers. We focus on productivity and give lasting value to customers from their IT investments. Customer satisfaction is the key to our success.

What are your offerings?

We are specialized in datacenter, enterprise security, mobility, cloud computing, virtualization, enterprise storage and Infrastructure management.

 

Which are the verticals do you target?

We are targeting ITES, BFSI, Pharma, Real Estate, Hospitality, Education and manufacturing with our solutions.

How do you approach these verticals?

We have a little different market strategy. We carry 112 partnerships in OEMs. We are engaged with customers to give them complete solutions. We have more than 10 year old association with our customers so we give them the solutions according to their requirements. We emphasize more on giving quality of solutions.

Do you find any challenge in tapping the verticals?

Each vertical has its own upstream and downstream. We are doing business in ITES where we are doing fairly fine. In insurance sector there is a downturn so the business is less there. We target only opportunistic customers and if he is ready to understand the requirements we give our solutions to them. We are focusing on giving customers’ solution. We ask them the problem areas and give solutions to them. Productivity and opportunity is higher.

Where is the growth coming from?

The growth is coming from services sector and we are looking for more and more customers from this domain. We are investing more in services to get the opportunity. Education, healthcare, hospitality, are the potential sectors for our business. We are also giving solutions in tier 4 and 5 cities and seeing potential for our business.

Are you also giving solutions for enterprise mobility?

We call it as mobile device management framework. We are giving solutions to organizations so to help them to get proper access control. Mobility at work is all about improved agility and productivity. We define enterprise applications access methodology from any mobile device, giving access of login, extending enterprise security towards mobile devices.
