LG L90 Dual D410-A Sleek Budgetary Option

And to be honest this attempt by LG dosen’t goes in vein as the device offers some sturdy features like an excellent battery backup and the ease of portability with its pocket friendly dimensions.

Unboxing

The 4.7 inch screen dual SIM device comes pack with a set of earphone and a charger and fits easily in the palm grip as compared to other large screen phones available in the market. The phone sports an IPS display at 540*960 pixels which does a decent job while watching videos on the device. The volume rocker button is mounted on top side of the phone with the power button positioned opposite to it.

The paired earphones are a big disappointment with their age old design and sluggish build quality adding to that their poor sound quality and uneasiness to ears when tuned in makes them lag way behind as compared to earpieces being offered by other smart phone vendors in this range.

The phone however feels quite light and easy to hold when talking and reminds me of the era when handset makers were battling to make the device as compact as possible though as feature phones. The one of a kind feature of activating the phone by two taps in the middle of the display adds to the enjoyment.

Under The Hood

The phone on the hardware front boasts of a 1.2 Ghz cortex A-7 Quadcore Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm coupled with a 1 GB RAM and runs on the latest Android Kitkat 4.4.2 version operating system which offers a superb combination as the phone is almost ready to deal with any task thrown at it. Be it playing full high definition 1080p videos or playing heavy games, the device hardy reflected any signs of a ‘slowdown’. The sound quality of the phone ranges in average category which with a minor improvement would have been an icing on the cake.

The 8 MP camera rear camera of the phone clicks decent pictures and captures full HD video at 1080 pixels, while the front facing 5 MP camera does its job well when video chatting or capturing selfies in a luminous environment.

All in all it’s a good initiative by LG to give a tough competition to its rivals in the mid range smart-phone market. At a price of approximately 15,000 the device is sure to emerge as a lightweight option on the pocket of a smart-phone aspirant.
