SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd on Tuesday named company veteran Dilipkumar Khandelwal as managing director, two months after former head Anirban Dey resigned following a whistle
blowing controversy where anonymous mails were sent to senior company executives.
Khandelwal, senior-vice president and global head of suite engineering at Germany-based SAP, will continue in his existing role and take up the responsibility of managing SAP’s India operations. Khandelwal, who has been with the company for about 13 years, will be based in Bangalore.
“I am excited to take on this additional responsibility and closely work with the team to drive customer-relevant solutions by leveraging on the latest technology innovations from SAP Labs,” Khandelwal said in a statement. “Dilipkumar’s leadership will be an asset in spearheading the next wave of innovation coming out of SAP Labs India,” said Clas Neumann, senior vice-president and global head of the SAP Labs Network.
