Plextor unveils M6 PRO SSD

Plextor has launched next generation M6 PRO SSD with PlexTurbo, the newly developed intelligent SSD caching software that delivers speed far beyond the limit of SATA III interface. Meant for gamers, computer creatives and other demanding users, Plextor has developed an uncompromising professional SSD that sets the gold standard for storage performance, reliability and stability.

Using a new generation of A19 nm Toshiba toggle NAND flash, a generous on-board cache, and the latest Marvell multi-core controller, the Plextor M6 PRO is able to take hardware performance up-to 10 times faster and provide ultra-stable performance at 6 Gb/s. The M6 PRO has the advantage of DEVSLP mode that offers ultra-low rapid-wake power feature adding hours of battery life for the laptops or ultra-books.

The M6 PRO is the first SSD to survive Plextor’s new ultra-strict, enterprise-grade, Zero-Error standard. Taking place at the company’s own state-of the-art testing facility, the tests subjected 400 units to 1008 hours (up from 500 hours) of extreme tests without error or failure.
