Next Generation of Infor SunSystems to Increase Collaboration

Infor launches Infor SunSystems 6.2, the next generation of Infor’s leading financial management software used by more than 9,000 customers in more than 190 countries and territories. Infor SunSystems delivers robust international financial management capabilities with flexible deployment options including cloud, on-premise and Infor’s hybrid model.

It is a premier choice for fast growing organizations, multi-site subsidiaries of global enterprises, and organizations in need of a sophisticated financial management solution. Through this application, companies can gain a competitive edge with real-time financial data and reports delivered anytime, anywhere, on a desktop, browser or mobile device.

This enhanced version of Infor SunSytems increases visibility and enables efficiency across an enterprise with new Enterprise Data Management and Business Unit Management functions and the Extended Analysis module, which lets users capture critical analysis needed to support strategic decisions. Self-service planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools unlock data needed to drive peak performance.

Additional new capabilities within Infor SunSystems 6.2 include the Unicode enablement of the SunSystems Business Unit database, which allows for a single SQL Server database to store values from multiple character sets. By adopting Unicode data types, Infor SunSystems can now reflect multiple languages in one place, further extending multilingual capabilities of the solution, including Arabic with full right-to-left support as well as the new Hindi language.

“Business is increasingly becoming more global, and with that globalization comes many more complexities associated with language barriers, employee collaboration and general day-to-day logistics,” said Diane Johnson, industry and solution strategy director, Infor.
