Lara Dutta unveils Samsung Galaxy Alpha

To make a great start for the festive season Samsung has launched the Galaxy Alpha with Bollywood actor Lara Dutta unveiling the first look of the luxury phone today. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with a metal frame around a plastic body and will be available in the market from first week of October.

Having priced at MOP of Rs. 39,990 Samsung Galaxy Alpha the 4.7 inch HD super AMOLED (720x1280p) display phone runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The new offering from the house of Samsung comes with bundles of new features like 12 megapixel rear camera, 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera, 1869mAh battery and fingerprint scanner. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos octa core processor featuring 1.8GHz quad-core and 1.3GHz quad-core processors, and 2GB RAM.

The Galaxy Alpha comes with 6.7MM thickness and weighs 115 grams only. The phone has an internal memory 32 GB but unlike Google Nexus 4, the microSD card is missing. Available in Charcoal black, dazzling white, frosted gold, silver, and blue, the phone is compatible with 4G/LTE bands.
