Covacsis Technologies, has developed an intellectual plant framework (IPF) solution using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 that brings Internet of Things to the shop floor in process and discrete manufacturing. Covacsis IPF is built on SQL and provides real time data from machines on the shop floor allowing manufacturing units flexibility to take quick and informed decisions about efficiency, downtime and asset management among other parameters.

Covacsis is offering the hardware and software in a box that connects with any manufacturing system, machine, or equipment on the shop floor. Tarun Mishra, Founder and CEO, Covacsis Technologies said, “Most of our customers are already on the Microsoft technology platform and our offering is aligned to their IT infrastructure roadmap.  We will soon offer our services in the cloud through Microsoft Azure as well.”
