The company has been in software trading from 2007 and today Absolut caters to more than 250 vendors who were not present in India in 2007. In 2009 Absolut partnered with Adobe and till date the company is one of the largest partners for Adobe. To bring about a change in the style of business, Ashish Sharma focused on trading business and focusing on Digital world as they believe Digital is the future of the grand.
The company has launched digital services recently where end users can buy the software from our source. “We have a sales expert team, technical team for support and digital marketing team to take the business on new heights,” informs Sharma.
With the capital of Rs.7 lakh the company has Rs.20 crore turnover and is hoping to touch Rs. 40 crores in next two years. Having learned from their mistakes, the company learned to stick to their core competencies, stick to basics, and concentrate on good than on bad. “We are focusing on trading part which has helped us to move ahead in our venture. We feel that digital business will help to achieve our targets and are trying to strike a balance between our traditional and ahead of time technology to improvise business,” shares Sharma.
With complete focus on Digital world, Absolut sees that adopting a different approach by educating people about the software and applications suitable to their business set up is the way to lead the business forward. “Just selling software is not a solution. With new generation coming in, they want better service and solutions. We are giving proper feedback, solutions, and provisions to the end users so that they can buy the genuine product,” explains Sharma.
In the first phase of expansion plan through digital business, Absolut is focusing on creating content for counseling customer with the help of Blogs, forums etc.
In the second phase they will focus on social media till March 2015. In the third phase Absolut will be more interactive and there will be live chat, options for the pricing, e-commerce support.
Buying software should not be a pain for a customer. Not only this, the company with its digital endeavor will be focusing on SMB & Corporate and will continue building the content around the customers’ need.
“We see potential for our business in the SMB which is huge. Tomorrow it can be SOHO as the new generation is gearing up for technology savvy phase.” The company will also be focusing on affiliations to expand the business.
The company is targeting the revenue of Rs.4-5 crore by next fiscal from digital business.
