Zyxel to uplift tribals of West Bengal

To educate tribals and help them with employment opportunity, Zyxel laid the foundation stone of the grand Veer Birsa Bhawan in the Binnaguri district of West Bengal, marketing a robust launch of its Corporate Social Responsibility in India.

The building is dedicated to the tribals of land. The Veer Birsa Bhawan in Telepara-Hatkola area which is the tribal heartland in North West Bengal will constitute a temple, library- with vast section on tribal history and culture, an extensive office complex, one information center- kiosk to eradicate poverty.

Besides having a community hall, the structure will also feature guest rooms on the ground floor, guest cottages and a lecture room. The ceremony was attended by tribals, political leaders, NGOs and social workers. The ceremony was followed by tribal cultural programmes and speeches.

The donor for the land to build this building in the name of the freedom fighter and son of the soil – Veer Birsa Munda is an army officer and 1971 -War veteran Late Lt. Col. Amod Kumar Sinha. A Delhi based architect has been appointed to look after the task.
