iYogi achieves ISO 27001:2013 for customer data protection

Becomes the first company from the consumer tech support industry to achieve the highest industry certification for information security management

iYogi, a global provider of software and tech support services has become the first consumer services company from India to achieve the ISO27001:2013 certification for Information Security and Data Protection by the British Standards Institute (BSI) Group. The certification recognizes iYogi for its robust and sophisticated data security processes, specifically aimed at securing customer information from identity theft, and safeguarding their privacy.

Published in September 2013, the latest ISO 27001:2013 standard is the recognized international benchmark for information security management, outlining the process to implement and uphold an independently assessed and certified information security management system (ISMS).
