Samsung Galaxy S5 most-preferred model of 2014

iSpyPrice.com, a price comparison site of the country has come up with an insightful report on the Indian mobile brands of 2014. The report observes that Samsung is the oft-preferred brand followed by Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, Motorola, Apple, HTC, LG, Sony and other brands.  Also, the top model that has won the popularity vote among smart phone users is Samsung Galaxy S5 followed by Apple iPhone 6 and Intex Aqua Octa in that order.

In accordance with the report, Samsung holds the largest Smart phone vendor share in India i.e. 35%, as per the first quarter of 2014. It is followed by other brands (30%), Micromax (15%), Karbonn (10%), Lava (6%) and Nokia (4%). In quarter 2 of the same year however, other brands dominate the Smartphone Vendor Share by 34% followed by Samsung (29%), Micromax (18%), Karbonn (8%), lava (6%) and Motorola (5%).

Also, the report confirms Sony Xperia Z3, LG G3, Apple iphone6, HTC oneM8, Apple iphone 5s, 6 Motorola Moto X (2nd Gen), One Plus one, Samsung Galaxy S5, Blackberry Passport and Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, as the top 10 smart phones of 2014. As per the report, other top models that grabbed attention in 2014 include Lenovo Vibe Z, Moto G, Micromax Canvas Knight among many others.

An interesting revelation made by the report was that Moto G, LG G flex, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Nokia Lumia 525, Nokia Lumia 1320, Oppo N1 and many others are among the most successfully launched models of 2014.
