Microsoft expanded its devices portfolio in 2014 by tying up with the Indian handset manufacturers to make its devices land in the reach of the country’s budgetary buyers which can impact the market share of the undisputed OS champion Android in the low end smart-phone segment

While there have been many speculations about the success of windows based mobile devices in an Android dominated market, their ability to replicate the computing experience definitely possess the potential to tap the segment which is seeking for a multipurpose device and not just an entertainment box.
