Microsoft launches Office for Android

As of today, Word for Androidtablet, Excel for Androidtablet and PowerPoint for Androidtabletwill be available in the Google Play store as free downloads (links at the end of this news).These apps join the highly rated OneNote forAndroid. Users can just download the free apps fromthe Google Play store and then log in with their Microsoft Account to createfiles, print and perform day-to-day editing. To access premiumfeatures, users can sign up for an Office 365subscription. If you are a business or organizational user, the Android tabletis now another device on which you can use Office, logging in with yourOffice 365 business credentials.

The Office apps remain in the Top 10 Best Productivity Apps category with a4+ rating. Since the Office for Android tablet preview release, these appshave received a tremendous response, earning a 4+ rating.
