Electronic Trader Services Center (ETSC) was set up in 1985 with an investment of Rs. 2 lakhs, and a vision to providing electronic and industrial equipment services to various pharmaceutical and industrial units in Rajasthan. Like every new business, Kailash Gupta, Director ETSC, had to face the challenges of reaching out to the market and developing cycle of products in the initial years.
Today, ETSC has garnered accolades in the region and has created a niche for itself. The company, established under the Government sector, started initiating computer literacy in 1987, encouraging the study of computers in schools, supporting electronics projects. It has since diversified into sales and services of educational computers and software in various public schools, colleges and educational institutions. It was only in 1989 the company started gaining momentum when they diversified into computer business with class project and signing up with ET&T Corporation Ltd.
In 1991, the company entered the distribution bandwagon by tying up with WIPRO as an exclusive partner for its peripherals range in the state of Rajasthan. Now, with a focus of providing one stop IT solutions, Kailash Gupta is transforming the company with the change in trade channel. Specializing himself as an emerging Solution Provider, Gupta is now providing end to end solutions to the enterprise.
Being one of the most favored SPs in Rajasthan, ETSC is playing well in the region and sees the business profitable for next couple of years. “It’s a promising market and with a stable Government, various e-Governance programs and the steady pace of investments in place, I see the next 5 years as very promising,” says Kailash Gupta.
While focusing on IT infrastructure, security and storage, surveillance and cloud solutions, ETSC has a clear differentiation from other players offering the same solutions, focusing on the following points:

While talking about the changes in business practice he informs, “The Business practice is changing from mere fulfillment to Value Added Solutions selling. There is also convergence of various sectors e.g. IT; Mobility, Telephony and Surveillance. We are upgrading our skills to be able to offer solutions as per customer requirements and market potential.”
For his business he sees healthcare, hospitality, education, government and manufacturing industry as the potential verticals for the company to expand. Located in the capital city of Rajasthan, the company is covering the entire state in Government vertical. For other verticals, they are currently focusing in Jaipur and the peripheral towns.
