The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) is set to host its annual three-day flagship event – NASSCOM India Leadership Forum [NILF] from February 11-13, 2015, at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The core theme for NILF this year is ‘The World in 2020: Building the Digital Future’ where industry representatives will discuss digital technologies that will shape the future of the industry and evaluate their global impact on business and society.
The 2015 Leadership Forum is expected to host 45+ sessions, with more than 150 speakers, and close to 30 countries at the conference. With the government’s focus on digital empowerment and increased emphasis on IT enabled services, this year NILF will witness unprecedented government participation, including Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Shri. RS Sharma, Secretary, Director of Electronics and Information Technology. To further showcase a digitized and integrated world, this year NASSCOM is striving to create a ‘paper-less event’ and is hosting a special section christened the ‘NILF – News Room’ to showcase key stories, discussions and news highlights from the event. NASSCOM will also set up a ‘Digital Experience Zone’ with product demos of next generation devices like 3D Printers, Drones, Wearable Devices etc. from global firms and startups.
Elaborating on the theme for NILF 2015, Mr. R Chandrashekhar, President, NASSCOM, said, “This year the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum will provide a platform for thought leaders to deliberate on what 2020 will look like and how companies need to evolve to embrace the digital futureThe rapidly accelerating trend of innovation and digitization in the technology sector provides clear indication that India’s journey to become the top technology destination has begun.”
The forum will perceive deep insights from customers, analysts and thought leaders on the digital future and how to stay ahead in this rapidly changing world. NASSCOM will also release its Strategic Review for 2015, which will include key findings of the Indian IT-BPM sector and performance for FY2014-15. The report is a compilation of facts, figures and trends that define the current state of the Indian IT-BPM industry, and its future directions.
