Harnessing Digital Technology: Aligning Government Initiatives with Modern Times

The Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Information and Broadcasting, Shri Arun Jaitley released recently, India/ Bharat 2015 Reference Annual, which is credited as a reliable, authentic and updated  collection of India’s developments. India/Bharat 2015 Reference Annual which holds a legacy among the annual publications of this genre is an exhaustive and authentic repository of information about the activities, progress and achievements of various ministries and departments of Government of India during the year.  Emphasizing over the crucial role of Digitized and IT environment in the current scenario especially in broadcasting information to masses, the minister referred to wide scope of accessibility and sustainability of Digitized Information.

Digital version and efforts like “The Making of the Constitution of India” documentary is a distinguished illustrated application of Digital platforms in archiving and wrapping up a vast and sensitive piece of work, unlike a vulnerable instance of traditional printed version of such heritage knowledge. The Government of India is already including and promoting their mighty plans such as Swachh Bharat Mission, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and PM’s Jan Dhan Yojana along with efforts of the Ministries in addressing the crisis situation.
