Polycom Names Shirish Joshi as APAC Channel Sales Director

Polycom, Inc.has announced the appointment of Shirish Joshi as APAC Channel Sales Director. He will be responsible for executing channel programmes across the region, driving business for Polycom partners, and strengthening go-to-market and distribution strategy.

Joshi joins Polycom from Citrix Systems where he was the Channels and Alliances Director for the ASEAN region. In this role, he held responsibility for building and managing the partner ecosystem for several business areas such as enterprise mobility, cloud services, and desktop & application virtualisation. With extensive channels experience in the industry, both in Asia and the United States, Joshi has previously held various leadership roles for Cisco Systems from 1996 – 2011, where he managed regional channel sales teams that met annual targets in excess of $700 million across the region.

Originally from India and resident in Singapore since 2005, Joshi holds an MBA in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering.
