ANCHOR ROLLS OUT NEW RANGE OF ADVANCE – EFFR CABLES FOR THE INDIAN MARKET

Anchor, a Panasonic company, announced the launch of its new range of Advanced- EFFR – Extra Flexible Germfree cables, targeting domestic, residential and commercial sectors with main focus on hospitals, schools and airports. The company said these are India’s first advance FR –PVC (Flame retardant- Polyvinyle chloride compound equipped)  Extra Flexible Germfree Anti bacterial wires, insulated with advance formulated compound of special ingredients carrying extra fire-fighting properties, higher oxygen and temperature index than those of the normal PVC compounds.

Anchor said it has developed this new range of highly flexible wires in conformance with IS 694 to deliver top-in-the-class performance at a very competitive price. The complete range is manufactured in manufacturing facilities in Daman and Kutch. These wires contain unbreakable stress inhalers while the conductors are supported by an extra 60 % annealing  to offer  more flexibility and bending capability for enhancing  the wire’s  bending radius, enabling it to deliver excellent performance even in harsh electrical conditions. The range comes with a higher temperature index of 300 degrees Celsius against 250 degree Celsius exceeding the specified electrical standard. Special PVC insulation prevents current leakage on bunched conductors, especially in control panel applications. In addition to this, it is India’ s only wire with 100++ conductivity, reduced heat generation  and power saving resulting in reduced electricity bills. It is the World’s 1st Germ Free Wire that adheres to ASTM & JIS standards.
