Dell launches multi-city channel partner roadshow for Vostro 3000 Series

Dell announced the start of a multi-city channel roadshow to launch and train partners on its next generation of Vostro notebooks. Dell will be meeting partners in 8 cities that include: Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Patna and Bhubaneshwar.  The roadshow, beginning on July 14 in Pune aims at empowering & energising Dell’s Small Business channel partners to address evolving customer requirements.

The event is designed to directly engage with the Small Business channel to help them get a better understanding of the newly upgraded version of the Vostro series, the company said in a press release.

The press release elaborated that the Vostro line of productivity notebooks is designed to meet the needs of small businesses, home offices and mobile professionals, powered by the latest Intel Processors, available up to core i5 (5th generation processors). The Vostro 14 delivers up to 9 hours of battery life, while the Vostro 15 lasts up to 8 hours 42 minutes.  For more demanding graphics-rich applications or uninterrupted multi-tasking, users can opt for built-in discrete graphics from NVIDIA with up to 2GB memory and up to 4GB of high-speed RAM with 2 DIMM slots.

The new Vostro 3000 Series notebooks are less than 1.85 mm thin, slimmer than the previous generation for improved portability. Available in default Solid Black and Matte Metallic Red colour options, the micro-stripe textured cover enhances tactility, making the device less prone to scratches from everyday use and commutes.
