Targus Announces USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video (DV) Docking Stations

Targus® Inc., recently introduced new additions to its range of USB 3.0 devices – Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Stations. The new SuperSpeed DV Docking Stations are compatible with nearly any devices including all major laptop brands, Notebooks, Ultrabooks, and tablets including Windows Surface. Designed to support flexible work environment, the new docking stations let users connect their portable devices to a number of essential peripherals while maximizing productivity and comfort.

Targus SuperSpeed DV Docking Stations come with a 3-year warranty and pre- sales support from Targus.The Docking Stations house two USB 3.0 ports for connecting portable accessories such as external hard drives, flash drives, smartphones, cameras and more. They also feature four USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port for faster data transfer speed and audio in/out ports. The devices also feature DisplayLink’s USB video technology with two HD display ports (1x DVI-I, 1x HDMI) and come with HDMI-to-DVI and DVI-to-VGA adapters. They also include a 6A AC adapter and a 2ft USB 3.0 cable to easily connect to a complete workstation – including dual monitors, a mouse, keyboard, printer and other peripherals.

In addition, USB 3.0 SuperSpeed DV Docking Station with Power has integrated universal laptop charging feature (patent pending) that is compatible with most 90W PC laptops. Universal power tips are conveniently stored in the dock for quick and easy access. These docking stations also feature a security lock slot that helps secure the dock and deter theft.
