Tell us something about TriCad’s business – how has your conception and growth through the years?
Since 1999, TriCad Computers has been providing a diverse range of IT products and services to Corporate Clientele. Our offerings includes it infrastructure management, networking & communication, information security and software solutions. TriCad is today partnering with almost all leading it companies such as IBM, Lenovo, CISCO, Microsoft etc. backed by in-depth Technical Expertise and resources to efficiently address enterprise IT requirements. We provide leading solutions, and distributed delivery models (Onsite / offsite) that empower customers to run their businesses efficiently. We strongly believe that every customer is unique and you’re their needs differ from seemingly similar businesses/industries.
As far as growth is concern, since incorporation of TriCad we have never repeated or decreased the figure through the years.
Since when have you been associated with Lenovo?
TriCad is one of Lenovo’s oldest partners in India. Our association began when Lenovo started its operations in India. As a team we know almost everyone within Lenovo, and have watched Team Lenovo tenure with us.
Which new product from Lenovo are you selling now and how is the market taking it?
Lenovo’s fresh launch of the ThinkServer TS140 and RD450 Series in the EBG line of business are doing exceedingly well with SMEs. This is Lenovo’s first product launch after their acquisition of IBM’s x 86 server businesses.
What is your role in promoting it?
The Basic strength of any Partner Company is the availability of capital, deploying resources in the right place and getting the kind of reach that Lenovo needs. Our wide geographical reach, certified sales and technical Team, and customer oriented approach is our main strength. This has helped Lenovo to expand its presence in all key sectors (segments) in our area.
Do you see any vertical specific advantages of Lenovo’s products?
Lenvovo,to my knowledge as the broadest device portfolio in the industry today. From servers to mobility, we carry it all.
How has Lenovo been a beneficial partner for TriCad?
By establishing an effective channel strategy, Lenovo has been able to increase channel engagement manifold, thereby boosting partner growth and profitability. Lenovo has always believed in implementing fair and ethical practices to grow business, and it has been successful in re-aligning its strategy to match business goals, backed by comprehensive marketing programs to create awareness. As incentive schemes are important to drive business efficiently and increase productivity, Lenovo keeps on revamping its partner programs so partners can earn more as they grow. Does TriCad have a network of partner distributers as well? How do you keep them motivated?
Most of our sales done with end customers, but definitely TriCad has a network of good partners. Maximum availability of Stocks, competitive prices and a Win-Win philosophy with our Support system keeps our partners motivated.
What are TriCad’s focus areas for 2016, and is Lenovo a part of it?
We intend to focus on Surveillance and Security during the next financial year. Server and Storage portfolio is the growth engine for TriCad and fortunately Lenovo is the principal for the same. I see us growing by at least 25% YoY in 2016.
