D-Link is now offering smart devices.  What future do you see for IoT in home devices in India?

D-Link had introduced new product category under IoT with a range of Smart home solutions and firmly believes that homes will move from being merely interconnected to information- and smart-enabled — a truly integrated services environment. Products such as Smart Plug, Motion Sensor and Audio extender will provide value to the home and the individual ambience in smart homes. The consumer IoT applications that are fuelling growth are smart TVs, smart set-top boxes, smart bulbs and various home automation tools such as smart thermostats, home security systems and kitchen appliances.

What plans for 2017?

D-Link today enjoys the leadership position in Wireless and Switch market in India and going forward we will continue to maintain the No1 position.

As D-Link looks to target more Government opportunities, the company’s Networking technology and market presence are strongly placed to support national initiatives such as Digital India & Smart Cities. D-Link aims to enhance its customer base across various Government departments and ministries including defence, railway, public sector units, and citizen services. D-Link is empanelled in the DGS&D rate contract and will significantly contribute to government opportunities under the contract.
