Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that its Technology Solutions business, formerly a division of Avnet, are delivering NVIDIA GPU solutions to their valued partners in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. This partnership extends upon existing successful partnerships between NVIDIA and Technology Solutions in EMEA, and NVIDIA and Global Computing Components in Asia Pacific.

NVIDIA GPU solutions help high-performance computing (HPC) customers drive business growth in the expanding industries of life sciences, finance, oil and gas, and manufacturing, as well as artificial intelligence, deep learning, supercomputing, visualization, and virtual reality. Technology Solutions is now the sole distributor of the NVIDIA DGX-1™ in ASEAN and ANZ, enabling them to provide partners with the world’s first purpose-built system for deep learning with fully integrated hardware and software that can be deployed quickly and easily. An AI supercomputer-in-a-box, the NVIDIA DGX-1 delivers the equivalent throughput of 250 x86 servers.
