Lenovo has reinvigorate its gaming laptop series, Legion, by launching the new Legion Y740 and Legion Y540in India. These new gaming laptops are the successors to last year’s Legion Y730 and Legion Y530 respectively. The design of current generation and last generation Legion gaming laptops is quite similar.
However, the new Legion Y740 and Legion Y540 come with new GPUs and Intel’s 9th Gen processors.

Lenovo Legion Y740 Features –
The Lenovo Legion Y740 gaming laptop features a nearly bezel-less 15-inch FHD+ display that supports 144Hz refresh rate. The gaming laptop is powered by 9thgen Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. The Legion Y740 gaming laptop comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q card.The Legion Y740 sports a machined aluminium chassis covered with an anodized Iron Gray color coating. The gaming laptop also has a customisable RGB lighting behind the thermal venting and the keyboard. Along with these, the laptop features Dolby Atmos Speaker System with Dolby Sound Radar, options for Dolby Vision HDR 400 500-nit display, and wireless as well as wired connectivity options including USB Type-C port, an audio jack, and an HDMI port.

he Lenovo Legion Y540 gaming laptop comes with a nearly bezel-less 15-inch FHD+ display, which supports 144Hz refresh rate. The laptop features a 9thgen Intel Core i7 processor, paired with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The Legion Y540 laptop comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
The Legion Y540 comes in a singular Raven black color option and features Harmon speaker with Dolby Atmos, a white-backlit keyboard, and wireless as well as wired connectivity options like USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, and an audio jack.
The Legion Y740 and the Legion Y540 gaming laptops run Windows 10 out of the box and pack a 3 cell 57Wh battery that can last up to six hours with a single charge. Both of these laptops also feature Lenovo Legion Cold front dual-fan thermal layout to dissipate heat.
