Valsad-based Enjay focuses on developing Make in India software solutions around CRM and thin clients. With SMBs being the primary target for Enjay, the COVID19 crisis has definitely caused hardships. However, CEO & Founder Limesh Parekh informs how Enjay has prepared well and successfully coping with the situation.
During this COVID19 crisis, what are the measures Enjay has undertaken to continue your own business without disruption?
The entire team Enjay was on Work from Home from 20th March onwards. We have given laptops, mobile phones, and data vonnectors to each and every person. Special VPN and other resources were created immediately so that everyone can work safely and securely from their homes. Entire infrastructure and all the services of Enjay run from NetMagic and CTRLs Datacenters. As a result, all our services for all our customers were uninterrupted.
We made a Call Forwarding arrangement for all the phone numbers in our office so that our customers do not have to face any problems.
What are the activities to help your customers and partners = during the lockdown crisis?
We have organized massive online training programs for partners and end customers. We are daily doing 2 to 3 webinars on a regular basis since the lockdown, and the response has been awesome. Till today more than 2500 people have attended these webinars. These are not just our product training, but generic training sessions which address business issues of our Customers and Partners.
Because of this massive activity, we were able to build a solid foundation and connect with the partner community. One of the sessions which has become massively popular is Practical Training on Sales Management in 2020, Already 2 sessions are full and more than 700 people have registered.
What are the initiatives for employees and financially what is the impact on Enjay and what are your plans to mitigate them?
As I already mentioned, we have given laptops and all the necessary equipment required for our employees to work from home. We have also made sure that the full salary will be paid to each and every member, without any cut. We expect some delays in our payments and cash flows, hence we have created a prioritization mechanism, where everyone can get some salary at least as per their needs.
What are the measures and initiatives Enjay has taken for the uninterrupted service for customers?
Till date, none of our services for the customers has been interrupted for a single minute. In fact, we motivated and recommended our clients to make use of this time and correct and complete their CRM data, so that they are ready for the crisis, which will come after this lockdown is lifted. We have more than 400 clients who use our call center solutions, We enabled all of them so that their employees can work from home.
What are Enjay’s business and operating models?
We are into Cloud-based CRM, Tally on Cloud, and telephony/Call Center Solutions. We recently launched a Mobile based marketing App called TikTik, which is getting a good response from the market. Traditionally, we have been doing Thin Clients, for the last 20 years.
Who are your marquee clients and what are the top 3 verticals you witness maximum traction?
We can say we have been an Industry Agnostic solution provider. Our Clients include a large number of IT Dealers, Governmentt, BPO, Automobile Dealerships, SME companies, Manufacturing, and retail players.
What are the contingency plans you have put in place if this crisis persists or gets escalated?
We can continue to work from home for another 3 months. We have already made arrangements and prepared ourselves for the same.
What sort of business and financial impact do you expect for Enjay’s business as a result of COVID 19?
We have kept a positive frame of mind till now. We have made sure that our business is not impacted negatively because of this crisis. I think we are getting more responses because our activity is helping the partner community and the business community at large. We are seeing it as more of service for our fraternity and not as a business opportunity. But yes, the business too has benefitted.
