Anand Sharma to take Leadership Role at TechPlus Media Group

New Delhi – April 24, 2020 – TechPlus Media today announced that Anand Sharma will join the Group Board as Executive Director with effect from May 1, 2020.

Sharma, who will be joining from Accenture, will be responsible for the Enterprise side of TechPlus Media Group offerings. He will spearhead the expansion plans of the group, both in terms of service portfolio as well as geographical expansion. Sharma brings close to two decades of experience in business management, sales, strategy and consulting. His wide array of exposure – in the field of cloud, mobility, data science, AI – would support TechPlus Media in pivoting to the new normal.

Commenting on Anand’s appointment, Anuj Singhal, Founder and MD of TechPlus Media, said, “We are excited to have Anand joining the group’s Board. Sharma has served organizations like Accenture, Ramco, TechMahindra, and Hewlett Packard, in the past. Prior to this, he was at Accenture, where he was instrumental in migrating client businesses from Americas, LATAM, Europe, and APAC region to various locations of Accenture worldwide. Having spent most of his career at TechMahindra, Sharma recounts the amazing experience of being part of the core team to manage the integration with Satyam.

Sharma holds an executive MBA from XLRI and MCA from Indira Gandhi University. He started his career with Indian Army, at IMA Dehradun. He has varied interests from NASA to National School of Drama, and has performed at All India Radio as well as Doordarshan. Sharma has deep interests in leadership development and social causes.
