Lenovo Names Amit Luthra as MD for ISG Business in India

Amit Luthra has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) division in India. Amit will lead and grow Lenovo ISG’s business in India in this capacity. Amit will be based in Bengaluru and will be responsible for championing Lenovo’s end-to-end products from the pocket to the data center to the cloud, as well as developing customer confidence in the data center business across the market. He will play a key role in expanding ISG’s portfolio of edge, hybrid cloud, High Performance Computing (HPC), AI, Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI), and storage solutions, as well as building partnerships with the partner ecosystem.

Amit has over 1.5 decades of expertise in strategic corporate IT business planning and leadership, as well as team building. He was most recently the Director and General Manager for Dell’s storage platform solutions. Amit has held several senior positions with major industry stalwarts such as Sun Microsystems and HCL. He has amassed extensive technical knowledge throughout the years, particularly in virtualization, cloud, storage, compute, and networking platforms.

Amit holds an engineering degree as well as an MBA from prestigious institutions.
