Sonata Software Appoints Roshan Shetty as Chief Revenue Officer

Roshan Shetty has joined Sonata Software as Chief Revenue Officer, with responsibility for global sales of the company’s services business. Roshan will be stationed in the United Kingdom. In order to better serve its clients, Sonata has been investing in senior talent, particularly in those located in its major markets, as part of its aggressive growth strategy. Roshan’s appointment is yet another step in the optimal direction.

Roshan brings over two decades of global experience in the IT services industry, managing clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and India, to Sonata. Roshan has held several senior leadership positions at Infosys, the most recent being Infosys Head of Insurance, Life Sciences, and HealthCare for EMEA, as well as UK Head and Member of Infosys’ Executive Council (Europe). He has successfully built successful business development teams within industry units, with a focus on developing women leaders. He is an industry expert and a member of GOV.UK’s Telecoms and Technology Trade Advisory Group. He has successfully collaborated with C-level client stakeholders on numerous strategic business and IT digital and data transformation deals that have resulted in enormous value for client organizations.
Roshan graduated from Stanford University, where he completed the Executive Leadership Program and the Stanford Ignite Program – Entrepreneurship & Leadership. He also has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering.

Roshan’s arrival will strengthen the company’s presence in Europe and the United Kingdom, in addition to his contribution to Sonata’s global growth. Sonata Software also established a development center in Ireland to better serve its customers in the region.
