Tech Mahindra has announced the launch of Synergy Lounges, developed in collaboration with IBM and Red Hat, one of the world’s leading providers of open source solutions. The first Synergy Lounge launched in Bengaluru, with a focus on edge, 5G, and software defined networking technologies, with the aim of accelerating organizations’ hybrid cloud journeys internationally. The Synergy Lounge will be launched in the Tech Mahindra Electronic City office in Bengaluru, followed by the opening of three more centers in London (UK region), Seattle (USA region), and Melbourne (ANZ region).

Based on the Hex-I concept, Synergy Lounges will combine Tech Mahindra’s design thinking approach and solution concept with IBM and Red Hat’s hybrid cloud and AI technology to create new products for organizations worldwide. These centers will help businesses address complex business problems and improve customer experiences while lowering operational costs and increasing workforce efficiency in key industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and energy and utilities, among others.
The Tech Mahindra and IBM Synergy Lounge aim to provide a comprehensive suite of solutions based on technologies such as IBM Cloud, 5G and software defined networking, Edge Computing, AI-powered automation, and Cybersecurity, among others, to foster innovation for enterprises, developers, and start-ups around the world. The Synergy Lounge will work with Tech Mahindra’s Centers of Excellence in a range of business areas, including CME, Automotive, and Manufacturing.
Furthermore, these Innovation Centers will be interconnected across geographies, offering a global common technological infrastructure and software environment for the development and demonstration of new solutions. These will be combined solutions including IBM and Red Hat technologies that are aligned with Tech Mahindra’s industry priorities in industries like telecommunications, manufacturing, and financial services, among others.
This cooperation aligns with Tech Mahindra’s NXT.NOW strategy focuses on investing in new technologies and solutions that allow digital transformation and meet the increasing needs of the consumer.
