Communications solutions provider Bharti Airtel has partnered with Tech Mahindra to deploy 5G for Enterprise solution at Mahindra’s Chakan manufacturing facility, making it India’s first 5G-enabled automobile manufacturing unit.
The solution has greatly improved Chakan’s network connectivity, leading to faster software flashing—an essential process for all vehicle dispatches. Managers may now conduct numerous software flashing sessions concurrently thanks to lightning-fast speeds and extremely low latency, which has decreased the turnaround time for an operation. Additionally, the computer vision-based examination is now entirely automated, improving the quality of the paint. In India, Airtel is driving the deployment of 5G. As part of its #5GforBusiness capabilities, the company has been testing use cases and spectrum distribution at several sites with a variety of partners.
This partnership is in keeping with Tech Mahindra’s NXT.NOWTM strategy focuses on investing in new technologies and solutions that enable digital transformation and cater to the changing demands of the consumer and aims to improve “Human Centric Experience.”
