Wipro Expands Partnership with Google Cloud to Drive Generative AI Capabilities

Wipro has announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to bring advanced generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to clients worldwide. This collaboration will see Wipro integrate Google Cloud’s suite of generative AI products and services, such as Vertex AI, Generative AI App Builder, and the Model Garden collection, with its own AI intellectual property, business accelerators, and pre-built industry solutions. The partnership aims to unlock new value within enterprises and transform large-scale businesses’ operations.

As part of the expansion, Wipro plans to train 20,000 associates on Google Cloud’s generative AI technologies. This initiative will empower clients to fully harness the potential of AI and drive secure AI-led transformations at scale.

Together, Wipro and Google Cloud will develop and deploy new generative AI solutions to address unique industry challenges while enhancing common enterprise functions, including consumer experiences, marketing, supply chain performance, financial modeling, workforce management, and sustainability.

Wipro will integrate generative AI as a core solution within its extensive set of consulting services, which include digital marketing, customer experience and design thinking, and financial services. The company’s AI Centers of Excellence in Bangalore, London, New Jersey, Dallas, and Mountain View will be open to clients seeking to explore generative AI use cases and develop customized strategies. Additionally, Wipro will leverage its crowdsourcing platform, Topcoder, to build and scale solutions that address client challenges.

Generative AI will also become a core technology within the Wipro FullStride Cloud Studio, facilitating cloud strategy and adoption. It further strengthens Wipro’s support for the Google Cloud Rapid Migration Program (RaMP).

Over the past two years, Wipro has made significant investments in its Generative AI Center of Excellence, conducting research with leading academic institutions, developing accelerators and frameworks such as WeGA (Wipro Enterprise Generative AI), building competency through the Wipro AI Academy, and executing key pilot programs for clients. This partnership with Google Cloud is poised to drive further advancements and fuel AI-led transformations for businesses worldwide.
