HPE Expands Cloud Portfolio and Partner Ecosystem, Unleashes Hybrid Cloud Innovation with HPE GreenLake

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has recently announced a significant expansion of its offerings and innovation across multiple fronts, including the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform, hybrid cloud services, private cloud portfolio, and partner ecosystem. These developments aim to provide customers with enhanced flexibility, choice, and capabilities in their hybrid and private cloud strategies.

One of the notable highlights is the completion of HPE’s acquisition of OpsRamp. As a result, OpsRamp’s solution is now available as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering on the HPE GreenLake platform. This integration allows customers to benefit from AI-driven operations, enabling them to efficiently manage complex multi-vendor, multi-cloud IT environments. By leveraging automation and simplification, businesses can streamline their operations and reduce costs.

Additionally, HPE GreenLake has expanded its portfolio with new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings for backup and machine learning. These additions further enhance the capabilities of the platform, providing customers with comprehensive solutions for their evolving business needs. Moreover, HPE has extended its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) portfolio, delivering a broader range of networking options and services to users.

In line with the expansion of its private cloud offerings, HPE has introduced HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition. This new offering empowers customers to swiftly spin up virtual machines (VMs) across hybrid clouds on demand, providing them with greater flexibility and scalability. Meanwhile, HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise has been enhanced to address multi-cloud use cases and is set to provide upcoming support for deploying Red Hat OpenShift. These advancements enable organizations to leverage the power of hybrid and multi-cloud environments with ease.

HPE has also reinforced its longstanding partnership with VMware by enhancing the HPE GreenLake for VMware Cloud Foundation pay-per-use solution. This includes the provision of pre-configured and tested HPE cloud modules optimized for VMware Cloud Foundation, ensuring seamless integration and superior performance. Through this collaboration, customers gain access to a secure, self-service hybrid cloud running on fully managed HPE infrastructure, enabling them to optimize resource allocation and meet changing business demands effectively.

Moreover, HPE has unveiled an expanded partnership with Equinix, a global interconnection and data center company. As part of this collaboration, HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise and HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition will be pre-provisioned at Equinix data centers worldwide. This strategic alliance offers customers rapid access to a wide range of private cloud offerings, empowering them with greater speed, agility, flexibility, and choice in their hybrid cloud strategies.

Antonio Neri, President and CEO of HPE, expressed his confidence in the company’s strategy and the value it brings to customers. “HPE GreenLake has led the way in this new category, and today we are extending our leadership by expanding the reach, choice, and capabilities of our hybrid and private cloud offerings,” said Neri. He emphasized that HPE GreenLake is the preferred destination for organizations seeking to drive successful hybrid cloud strategies.

The integration of OpsRamp with the HPE GreenLake platform and the introduction of new services and partnerships highlight HPE’s commitment to delivering a unified and simplified experience for managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments. With a single control plane, customers can automate, orchestrate, and run their hybrid cloud operations seamlessly. These developments reflect HPE’s dedication to providing innovative solutions that combine the advantages of modern cloud experiences with the control, governance, performance, and predictability offered by hybrid cloud environments.

Furthermore, the expansion of HPE GreenLake’s portfolio of private cloud offerings responds to the increasing demands of organizations for greater visibility, control, and predictability in their workloads and data across various environments. A recent report from Constellation Research validates the momentum behind HPE GreenLake, revealing that organizations that transitioned to a private cloud model experienced significant cost savings, increased performance, and faster IT and development cycles in hybrid environments.

Since the release of HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise in June last year, HPE has continued to invest in providing customers with more choices through an expanded portfolio of private cloud offerings. The introduction of HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition empowers customers to self-manage their private cloud from virtual machines (VMs) to infrastructure, ensuring simplicity and operational efficiency. This offering also provides seamless integration for data protection and enables the storage, management, and protection of data across on-premises, edge, and public cloud environments.

Additionally, HPE supports customers looking to build customized private cloud solutions through HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions, which are built on standardized modules to provide speed and simplicity in deployment. This flexibility allows organizations to tailor their private cloud offerings to their specific requirements.

In conclusion, HPE’s expansion of offerings and innovation across its HPE GreenLake platform, hybrid cloud services, private cloud portfolio, and partner ecosystem reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of customers. By delivering comprehensive solutions and partnerships, HPE empowers organizations to leverage the benefits of hybrid and private cloud environments, combining flexibility, control, and operational efficiency to drive successful business outcomes.
