Founders Meet in Kerala Unites Startup Community for Networking and Knowledge Sharing

The 11th edition of the Founders Meet in Kerala was a gathering that brought together startup founders, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors to foster networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Organized by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the event had approximately 150 participants who engaged in discussions and exchanges aimed at addressing the challenges faced by startups at various stages of growth.

KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika provided an overview of the agency’s support for startups, while Deena Jacob, Co-founder and CFO of fintech startup OPEN, shared insights on funding preparations and financial management. The event also facilitated potential collaborations between Malayali startup founders based in Bengaluru and KSUM. Abhishek Goyal, the founder of software firm Tracxn, shared his personal journey of transitioning from a venture capitalist to a startup entrepreneur. Furthermore, three startups had the opportunity to present their product pitches, and founders could seek assistance from the community during a dedicated session. The event concluded with a networking session, during which the delegates proposed Bengaluru as the venue for the next Founders Meet. This edition of the event was the first to be held outside Kerala, with the objective of promoting successful startups and providing guidance on raising capital and scaling. KSUM, headquartered in Kochi, serves as the Kerala government’s main agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
