TRAI Extends Deadline for Comments on Regulatory Sandbox Consultation Paper

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has published a Consultation Paper on “Encouraging Innovative Technologies, Services, Use Cases, and Business Models through Regulatory Sandbox in Digital Communication Sector” on June 19, 2023. The deadline for stakeholders to submit written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper was initially set as July 17, 2023, with counter-comments due by August 01, 2023.

In response to stakeholder requests for an extension of the comment submission period, the TRAI has decided to extend the deadline for written comments and counter-comments to July 31, 2023, and August 16, 2023, respectively.
