Kapture CX Secures $4Mn in Series A Funding Round Led by Cactus Venture

Bangalore-based SaaS-based Customer Experience platform, Kapture CX, has successfully raised $4 Mn in a series A funding round led by Cactus Venture Partners (CVP), a purpose-driven, early growth-stage venture capital fund. Kapture CX offers a state-of-the-art customer support automation platform, providing a suite of solutions tailored to enterprise customers. By streamlining and automating customer support across multiple channels, including Call, Email, Chat, WhatsApp, Social Media, and more, the platform helps businesses enhance their customer experience.

With a strong focus on specific industries such as Internet Companies, Retail (Offline and Online), Travel, Banking and Financial Services, and Consumer durable companies, Kapture CX has established a robust presence in 5 countries, namely the USA, UAE, Indonesia, Philippines, and India. The platform caters to large enterprise customers across 18 countries, boasting prominent names such as Nykaa, Meesho, BigBasket, Tata1MG, Reliance, Unilever, and ITC among its clientele.

The newly secured capital will be instrumental in further expanding Kapture CX’s international reach, enhancing its product offerings, and reinforcing its talented team. By concentrating on select large verticals and enterprise customers, Kapture CX has achieved remarkable success by addressing the unique needs of its clientele.

Expressing their enthusiasm about the funding, Co-founders Sheshgiri Kamath and Vikas Garg at Kapture CX stated, “We are thrilled to partner with CVP for this fundraise. There is a growing demand from enterprises to elevate their customer experience. Existing customer support platform providers are falling short, and large incumbents are struggling to meet the requirements of enterprise customers.”

“The rise of General Intelligence in generative AI models has significantly impacted the industry. The tailwinds we have been experiencing in the large enterprise segment encouraged us to seek the right amount of capital to accelerate our growth trajectory. Our strategic focus on Gen AI capabilities and expansions in select international markets has yielded favorable results. We intend to utilize this capital effectively to fuel growth in the markets we have identified,” they added.

Amit Sharma, Partner at Cactus Venture Partners, expressed his views on the funding announcement, saying, “Kapture CX possesses all the right elements to build a sustainable and sizeable SaaS business – a strong founding team with unparalleled determination and agility to understand and solve customer problems, a robust product suite with industry-specific solutions, and an unwavering commitment to building a high-growth, profitable business. We firmly believe that the time is right for Kapture to build upon its initial success in international markets, and CVP, as per our stated strategy, will provide the company with all the strategic resources alongside the capital.”

This marks the sixth successful investment made by Cactus Venture Partners. As a high-conviction investor, CVP prioritizes businesses with established product-market fit and disciplined financial performance. The fund maintains a broad sector focus, with particular interests in climate tech, health tech, and B2B SaaS businesses. With this fresh injection of capital, Kapture CX is well-positioned to scale its operations and seize new growth opportunities in the customer experience space.
