Hexaware Technologies is embarking on a significant expansion endeavor, focusing on emerging cities to unlock their potential and access local talent pools. As part of this strategy, the company has inaugurated a delivery center in Bhopal. This center forms a crucial part of Hexaware’s expanding delivery network, enabling the delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions to clients across diverse geographies and industries.
Chinmoy Banerjee, Corporate Vice President & Global Head of Banking & Business Process Services at Hexaware, explained, “The addition of this delivery center aligns with our strategy from the previous year, where we aimed to be closer to available talent and address the growing market demand. We will harness local talent to serve our global clientele, and the center is expected to grow from 250 employees to a robust workforce of 1,000 within a year.”
Bhopal was selected as the location for several compelling reasons, including its proximity to major metropolitan areas, strong air and road connectivity, recognition as an educational hub, and the availability of a highly skilled IT workforce.
The new center will operate in line with Hexaware’s approach, which leverages people, processes, and technologies to provide value and exceptional customer experiences. This strategy incorporates Hexaware’s operational proficiency, industry knowledge, and business process automation, harnessing the potential of cutting-edge technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
R Srikrishna, Chief Executive Officer at Hexaware, elucidated the rationale behind expanding into smaller cities, stating, “Hexaware Technologies places immense importance on expanding into emerging cities as a fundamental aspect of our core strategy. This latest expansion is a testament to our ongoing efforts to broaden our service network. We are highly optimistic that the Bhopal center will open doors to fresh talent pools, offering IT & BPO professionals the chance to contribute their expertise in serving our global clientele.”
Hexaware remains committed to supporting women professionals by extending its “Revive and Thrive” initiative to the Bhopal center. This program, thoughtfully designed, provides clear pathways to full-time employment for talented women who may have temporarily paused their careers for personal reasons.
