Samsung Unveils Next-Gen OLED Gaming Monitors: Odyssey G95SD, G80SD, and G60SD

Samsung has introduced its second generation of OLED gaming monitors, showcasing three models: G95SD, G80SD, and G60SD, at the upcoming CES 2024 trade show in Las Vegas. These monitors are equipped with groundbreaking OLED Glare-Free Technology, a first in gaming screens, minimizing reflections from daylight and ambient light for an immersive experience regardless of viewing angles. The displays boast dynamic details, rapid pixel response time, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for enhanced color vibrancy.

The OLED G9 and OLED G8, part of the Odyssey series, feature a remarkable 0.03ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, ensuring swift responses and smooth transitions in fast-action gameplay. All three monitors come with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to eliminate choppiness, screen lag, and image tearing during intense gaming scenarios. Samsung’s Smart TV platform, available on the G9 and G8 models, provides access to popular video streaming apps, while the Samsung Gaming Hub offers instant access to favorite games without requiring a separate console.

The OLED G95SD, a 49-inch curved ultra-wide monitor with DQHD resolution (5120×1440), stands out with its slim metal design and adjustable height. With a 32:9 aspect ratio, it envelops users in an immersive visual experience. Moreover, these monitors are not just for gaming—they can function as home IoT hubs, allowing control of various IoT devices. The Multi Control feature facilitates seamless image and text transfer between the Samsung monitor and other Samsung devices for efficient multitasking during remote work.
