TechnoBind, Tech Leaders Team Up for DPDPA Business Compliance

TechnoBind, a specialized distributor in data and associated domains, has joined forces with its partners to lead an initiative aimed at ensuring enterprises’ compliance with the forthcoming Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA). The DPDPA, recently passed by the Union Government of India after a decade of deliberation, is approaching the final draft stage, prompting businesses to prepare for its implementation.

TechnoBind, leveraging its expertise in data lifecycle technologies, is showcasing how its partners can play a pivotal role in facilitating DPDPA compliance. The process involves critical steps such as storage, management, protection, and security, all of which align with TechnoBind’s core competency.

Prashanth GJ, CEO at TechnoBind Solutions, highlighted the significance of pre-emptive preparation for businesses, stating, “A pre-emptive preparation will help businesses not only to be compliant with the Act but also have an edge over their competition because assessment of infrastructure, existing partnerships, current compliance setup, and final implementation will certainly take time.”

The DPDPA aims to strike a balance between privacy rights and lawful data use, allowing organizations to access and utilize data for business purposes while safeguarding individuals’ privacy. TechnoBind, in collaboration with its partners, emphasizes the importance of choosing storage and management solutions that already comply with international data protection standards.

Vishal Gupta, Founder & CEO of Seclore, emphasized the role of their data-centric security platform in ensuring compliance with the Indian DPDP Act. The platform ensures total control and protection for digital assets, guaranteeing secure data transit and storage while tracking all access, thus ensuring complete privacy and compliance.

Apart from storage and management, DPDPA compliance necessitates a focus on protection and security. TechnoBind advocates for the implementation of data protection and security strategies aligned with the DPDPA. The approach should be data-centric and compatible with existing infrastructure.

Rohan Cook, AVP of APAC Sales at ExaGrid, acknowledged the importance of secure data storage, especially with the passing of the DPDPA bill. ExaGrid, in partnership with TechnoBind, offers Tiered Backup Storage solutions with comprehensive security and ransomware recovery for businesses and the government of India.

As a distributor operating in the Indian and APAC regions, TechnoBind keeps a close eye on technology needs. The company operates as an extension of OEMs, providing sales, presales, marketing, and more. With the impending Digital Privacy and Data Protection Act 2023, TechnoBind is proactively collaborating with partners to facilitate compliance among businesses.
