Yotta Unveils Cutting-Edge Data Center in Gujarat’s GIFT City

Yotta Data Services has officially unveiled its cutting-edge data center, Yotta G1, located in GIFT city, Gandhinagar. The inauguration of this state-of-the-art facility marks Yotta’s entry into Gujarat and underscores its commitment to delivering digital services in India’s high-growth markets.

Yotta G1 becomes the company’s fifth data center facility in India, complementing its four large operational data centers in Navi Mumbai and Greater Noida, which are part of hyperscale campuses. Notably, G1 is strategically positioned within the International Financial Services Center (IFSC) zone of Gandhinagar’s Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city).

Representing an investment exceeding Rs 500 crore over five years, G1 is equipped with over 350 high-density racks and 2 MW power, scalable based on demand. The facility is meticulously designed to meet the most rigorous digital requirements, offering fault-tolerant infrastructure, high-performance Cloud compute and storage infrastructure, advanced physical and cyber security, unmatched connectivity, and unwavering sustainability.

G1’s location within the GIFT City IFSC zone makes it a potential data embassy for large global enterprises. This unique status allows these enterprises to maintain sovereignty over their data, subject to the laws and regulations of their home country, even when stored in India. This approach ensures business continuity in the event of major disruptions within their home borders.

Darshan Hiranandani, Co-founder and Chairman of Yotta Data Services expressed pride in supporting Gujarat’s vision for providing a sustainable platform for global businesses within GIFT City. He stated, “We are proud to support this vision of the Gujarat government with a state-of-the-art data center within the IFSC zone, providing the latest and best in cutting-edge technologies to help businesses set up and scale their businesses while also adhering to all regulatory requirements.”

Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, MD & CEO of Yotta Data Services, highlighted the significance of G1 as a pivotal milestone in delivering high-end data center, Cloud, AI compute, storage, connectivity, and cybersecurity services to enterprises in the Gujarat region. He noted, “Our data center shall serve as a potential data embassy for global enterprises, enabling them to adhere to their respective country’s laws while offering a dependable and secure locale for offshore data storage.”

Yotta G1 stands out by offering more than traditional colocation services. With advanced data security, customized business solutions, hyperscale cloud offerings, AI-GPU compute capabilities, and a suite of features, G1 positions itself as an end-to-end digital transformation partner for enterprises.

This announcement follows Yotta’s recent launch of cloud services – Shakti Cloud and Yntraa Cloud. Shakti Cloud, powered by NVIDIA’s GPUs, stands as India’s largest AI-HPC supercomputer, providing cutting-edge GPU computing infrastructure and services. Yntraa Cloud, an indigenous hyperscale cloud platform, competes globally, offering a comprehensive range of cloud products and services.
